Extra! Extra!

I had a really great moment today. As I was driving by myself to the hotel where the men's group was, I drove out onto the main highway and couldn't help but praise God for such beauty. It was cloudy and the sun behind the clouds had just gone down but there were still rays shining through. To my right a lightning storm happening in another town. It was a cloudy lightning but sometimes the bolts would peak out from behind. It was beautiful, and I thought to myself (and to God): "what a blessing it is to be here."

I mean, this week has been nothing short of amazing. I've had a blast with this group. They were so much fun to hang around and joke with. They encouraged me so much and definitely were the right start to my "group" experiences. I couldnt believe my Spanish either. I had a lot of help from a new friend and I definitely learned a lot this week, but I was able to adequately translate when they needed me to. The trip was also a tester on whether it was safe to bring other groups down here and I really think it went well in that area! I've been abundantly blessed and I know it is because God is answering the prayers of many!



We made the paper! This is from one of the newspapers in town! I'm at the top! Bright and big!!!
