Good times...

Well things just keep getting better and better as time goes on. We just finished one month of evangelizing. Sarai, Karina and I just walk the streets of the neighborhood and pass out flyers to each house. We invited Sarai's nephew, Hector, with us this time to help. We've had 3 personal responses to study more and a handful of people who were truly interested in coming to church to hear the Word of the Lord. I am excited to continue this ministry. If you remember, every Monday at 7pm, send a little prayer up to God for us. We'd really appreciate it!

I don't wanna sound like a broken record, but Sunday's are my favorite day here. Yesterday, we had planned to go to Eagle Pass and shop, but those plans fell through. I'm actually really glad they did because we ended up invitintg about 15 young people over to my house to hang out. We rented a scary movie, ate hamburgers from a store across the street from my house, and played the Wii. Only thing I regret is that I didn't take any pictures. There is a superstition I learned from grandma that Mexicans believe that everytime someone takes a photo of you, they take a part of your soul tambien. So it's been hard for me to feel comfortable in bringing out my camera. Don't worry, though, I've snuck a few in! Below are from a group of us hanging out in the Plaza. Have a blessed day!

(Oh, and this is from this morning as I was driving back home. Could barely see 4ft in front of me!)

Be strong in the Lord,
Rachel
