Resolutions

I've already made my personal new year resolutions, but I've been working on my Mexico resolutions for a little while now and finally have the chance to share them with you. Here they are:

My Mexico 2010 Resolutions:

1. Study 5 spanish words every week.

2. Be more assertive in starting up programs or events that I think the church would enjoy or benefit from.

3. I'd like to offer a free English course for all church members of Piedras Negras. This project begins with me offering the course to a few people right now... for practice.

4. Be more open to where God sends me while I am here in Mexico. (If this means I'm cleaning houses all week, then so be it!)

5. Allow the church to see who Rachel Almanza really is.

6. Write out the curriculum for a new children's ministry at church.

It seems like such a small list for the 12 months ahead of me, but I am confident that I can accomplish these resolutions with the help of support from my friends and family back home in the States, as well as those who are here in Mexico.
